Second PCR reports of 13 Navy personnel at Welisara camp yet to release

A few members of the Welisara Navy base have been directed to the PCR test today (23), according to health sources.

About 13 of them had undergone a second PCR test due to suspicious symptoms, sources said.

Navy spokesman Isuru Sooriyabandara said that He can't say anything until further reports.

A group from Welisara naval base have undergone the PCR test after it was revealed that two personnel who went on leave had been infected with the virus.

The two are residents of Pulasthigama in Polonnaruwa and Wariyapola. Wariyapola person who went on vacation from the Welisara camp tested positive this evening.
