Iran's Vice president for women and family affairs, Massoumeh Ebtekar, has been tested positive with the coronavirus.
She is reported to be the sixth highest-ranking official to hit by the virus.
There are 12 Vice-Presidents of Iran and she is the Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs.
Deputy Health Minister Harirchi was also infected with the virus and has been quarantined, the health authorities of the country said in a statement on Tuesday.
